Getting Started

Welcome to Aurora! This guide will help you get started with playing RPG Maker games on your iOS device.

Aurora is an iOS application that lets you play RPG Maker games on your iPhone and iPad. RPG Maker XP, VX, and VX Ace games (RGSS1–3) run natively through a heavily extended mkxp-z engine, while RPG Maker MV and MZ games run through Aurora’s built-in web engine. Aurora also has deep support for Pokémon Essentials fan games, from v17 through v21.
